  2. Step 2Send it your way

    Email it as a branded PDF, send a UBL document over Peppol, or download and print. Add a payment link so clients can settle immediately, or share a Public document link that opens the invoice in their browser.

  3. Step 3Get paid, hands off

    Payments are registered against the invoice and reconciled with your bank. Anything still open gets a payment reminder — automatically for every stage you set to auto-send, and one click away for the rest. The chase stops as soon as the payment is registered.

Invoicing questions, answered

Can I create an invoice for free?
Yes. The Free plan lets you create and send up to 3 documents a month — invoices, quotes and credit notes — at no cost and with no credit card. Paid plans lift the limit and add advanced document design, reports and bank reconciliation, and start with a 14-day free trial.
Can I send invoices in another language or currency?
Yes. Set a language and currency per customer and the invoice is produced in that language, with the amounts and VAT wording to match. It is the same invoice you always send — your client just reads it in their own terms.
How do recurring invoices work?
You build the invoice once and attach a schedule: a Cycle of Once, Weekly, 2 Weeks, 4 Weeks, Monthly, 2 Months, Quarterly, Half yearly or Yearly, a Send From date and a Send until date. Invoice Office then generates, finalizes and emails each new invoice on its date, so retainers and subscriptions bill themselves.
What is a UBL invoice, and do I need one?
A UBL invoice is a machine-readable version of your invoice that your client’s accounting software can read without anyone retyping it. Many organisations — public bodies especially — require it. Invoice Office produces the UBL alongside the PDF and can deliver it over the Peppol network.
How do I chase an invoice that has not been paid?
You do not have to. Create payment reminder sits on any finalized invoice that is not yet fully paid, and reminder stages set to auto-send go out on their own — the scheduled run skips anything already paid. Every invoice carries a payment status you can filter on: Open, Expired, Partial Payment, Paid, Overpaid or Credited.
Can I correct an invoice I have already sent?
Correct it with a credit note rather than rewriting history — Create credit note on the original invoice carries the customer, lines and VAT rates across, so the amounts reverse cleanly in your books. Invoice Office can lock finalized invoices against editing and deleting outright, and always does once an invoice has gone to Peppol.
