Your own logo is what makes an invoice look like it came from your company. It lives on the document template — the layout half of your document design — so you upload it once and every design built on that template carries it.
Upload your logo
- Go to Settings → Document designs, pick the language and open a design.
- Switch to Document template with the control in the middle of the toolbar.
- Click the Logo block — either in the preview or in the blocks list on the left. The right-hand panel becomes the Logo inspector, on its Content tab.
- Drop your file on Logo image, or click Browse and pick it.
- Set the Logo position — Left, Center or Right — and drag the Logo size slider until it looks right in the preview.
- Click Save.

Show text, at the top of the same panel, prints your company name beside the logo — useful when the logo is a mark rather than a wordmark.
Add a background image
A background image sits behind the whole page — a watermark, a letterhead, a coloured band.
- In the same Document template editor, find Background image under PAGE in the left column.
- Switch it on and upload your file.
- Click Save.

Keep a background light. It sits under the text, and anything with contrast makes the invoice harder to read — and worse, harder to read after it has been printed in black and white.
Show header and logo on every page, in the same section, repeats the header on page two onwards rather than only the first page.
Choosing a file
- Format —
.jpg,.gifor.png. Use PNG when the logo needs a transparent background; a JPG will show a white box behind it. - Size — upload something larger than it needs to be, then scale it down with the slider. A small image stretched up looks blurred on a printed invoice.
- Proportions — the slider scales the image as it is. If the logo needs cropping or padding, do that in your image editor before uploading.
If the logo does not appear on the PDF
- Check you are on the right template. The logo is on the template, and a design built on a different template will not show it.
- Check the Logo block is switched on in the blocks list — a hidden block prints nothing.
- Check the language. Designs are per language, so an English invoice can be using a design whose template you never touched.
- Save. The amber dot beside Save means the change is still only in the editor.
